I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On one hand, the location is fantastic with easy access to the slopes and nearby amenities. The rooms were spacious and had a full kitchen which added convenience. However, the heating situation was quite uncomfortable as the thermostat was locked at a low temperature. The service was somewhat lacking during the night as there was no one at the front desk for assistance.
Overall, my stay at the Silver King was fantastic! With its prime location right by the mountain and a short walk to excellent restaurants, it made for a very convenient trip. The amenities, especially the hot tub and gym facilities, added to my enjoyment after a long day of skiing. However, I did experience issues with the air conditioning being a bit noisy at times, and I had a less-than-ideal moment with the temperature control in the room during the stay.
We had a wonderful time at this hotel! Our room was beautifully designed and spotless, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We loved the convenience of having a well-equipped kitchen and the free bus service just outside. However, one setback was the sulfur smell we encountered in the other unit we visited, and some minor maintenance issues were present. Overall, this place is great for a getaway!

I’ve been coming to this hotel for the past 12 years with my family, and we honestly still enjoy it. The proximity to skiing is fantastic, and the atmosphere is always inviting. However, this year we had a bit of a trouble with the room setup for my adult son and me, as we found ourselves cramped with just a queen bed and a bunk bed.
The Silver King Hotel is conveniently located near the ski lifts, making it very accessible for skiing. The room was clean and had kitchen facilities, which made meal prep easy. However, some areas need improvement, such as the outdated technology and the need for a better maintenance of the hot tub. Overall, it provides a decent place for a ski trip but fell short in certain aspects.
